Counting error...

I don't have a lot of progress to show. I made a counting error and am not sure if I rip or if I just move some of the motifs 1 over so that everything still fits. That's probably what I will end up doing.

For now I am gonna take a break from it and work on something else.
Not sure yet what it will be..... :)

An oldie....

I pulled out Bon Appetit from Mariska in the last couple weeks. Here you can see where I left off in 2008:

And this is where I am now:

Hopefully i can get a picture in the daylight at the weekend that shows the true linen colour. It is not as yellow- brownish as in the second picture.
If I can stick with Mariska until she is finished? Knowing myself, it is probably not gonna happen LOL. There are just too many temptations out there.

A lot of you asked for more information about the red sampler: Bonjour

....strange....this picture seems to be slightly different to my chart. I think I have an apple instead of an elephant on my chart and some other things are different, too.
Anyways it is a wonderful design. :)

A lady from Belgium designed it Mariska. You will find it on her site if you click on catalogue and then on abecedaires.

Now I'm off to work....see you later and have a good day :)

I had the idea to pull an old WIP/UFO out of the drawer and put a few stitches in it. It's such a lovely Sampler and doesn't deserve to lie neglected like that. That's what it looked like before I started:

And here it is after a few hours of stitching....not too much of a progress but at least a bit. I hope to get a few more hours of stitching onto it this month:
