...but they will be back in about 2 weeks. And then we will go on holidays. I am so looking forward to our holidays. We will go on a roundtrip for about 1 1/2 weeks and then we have to come back because Lisa has an appointment with a specialist and will get tubings in her ears. Hopefully that will keep her safe from these almost permanent ear infections.
I am excited since I got Vikki Claytons newsletter saying that she is in the process of dying 40ct linen. That is definately a must buy for me....well known as a linen addict.... Can't wait till she is offering it in her shop!
So this is my not too big progress on Rubie Owl's Sampler. Surprisingly I am not tired of stitching the leaves, yet. I absolutely love them and the colours.
And this is where I spent some time during the weekends while Lisa is playing in her little pool in the yard.

Rubie is looking great - the leaves are really pretty. Your table setting looks like a perfect set-up to stitch and watch your little gal play. My son Matt got tubes as well - he had continual ear infections. He's now 18 and I don't think he ever had another one after getting tubes. if he did, it was minor. Your DD will do just fine and will feel so much better!
I hope you have a great vacation. I'm still trying to get motivated to start my FSTSS but it will be soon!

The leaves are coming along nicely. The colours are lovely!
I recently discovered the HDF 35 count linen and quite like it as a change from Lakeside. LL is still my favourite but I'm liking HDF. I don't know about 40 ct though!
Perfect little spot at your outdoor table. The Rubie design is looking great I can see how those leaves would be fun to stitch. Both my kids had tubes in their ears when very little, it so releived the pain they suffer during the ear infection years.
Rubie is looking wonderful. I really love the colors of the leaves. And your table on the deck looks so relaxing! The tubes are going to work wonders on Lisa's ears. My son had them two times (they fell out once) and it helped so much. He still got an infection once in a while, but the tubes allowed the ears to drain so therefore, no pain!
I pray that all goes well with the tubes. I have been there and done that three times with my daughter. The first time was when she was 9 months old and the last one she was 2 years old. After removing the Adenoids and putting the tubes in, she never had another problem.
Your progress is looking fantastic. Looks like you have a great place to stitch outdoors!!
I bet it's fun to stitch with these colours. Would be like that for me as this is exactly the colour range I love.

Beautiful stitching and great blog Bine!
Thank you for your nice comment on our HAED SAL blog re: hanging threads. It's amazing how some stitchers can hang so many threads without making a mess! We hope the tutorial helps you:)
